Trial For Man Accused In Fatal Shooting Of An Algona Police Officer Has Been Delayed

(Algona)– Trial for a man accused in the fatal shooting of an Algona police officer that was scheduled to start Tuesday (6/25) has been delayed due to the flooding in the region.

The trial for Kyle Ricke was moved to Dickinson county on a change of venue. It was to have gotten underway tomorrow (Tues.) with jury selection.

Online court records show it is now scheduled for July 8th.
