(Spirit Lake)– An August 4th trial date has been set for a Spirit Lake man accused of intentionally trying to crash his vehicle head-on with a semi on Highway nine east of Spirit Lake.
24-year-old Travis Kramme was charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident late last month.
A passenger in the vehicle grabbed a hold of the steering, narrowly missing a collison with the semi.
A Dickinson county sheriff’s deputy on routine patrol saw the incident and pulled Kramme over.
