(Spencer)– No injuries were reported when a travel trailer went up in flames Tuesday in Spencer. Firefighters were called around 4:17 pm to 500 block of 2nd Avenue Southeast and found the trailer completely engulfed when they arrived. All of the occupants had evacuated safely and it was confirmed there was no propane in the trailer. A vehicle that had been pulling the trailer sustained minor heat damage.
Firefighters were on the scene a little more than an hour. A press release doesn’t mention a possible cause of the fire.
The Spencer Police Department assisted on the scene.
