She adds that Zimmern agreed to speak following his own recovery. (click here) “Seasons Center along with our presenting sponsor Community State Bank have partnered to bring The Travel Channel’s Andrew Zimmern, who has his own show, Bizarre Foods. There will be a silent auction at the event May 2. Andrew will do a talk on his own recovery from addiction, and do a bizarre foods presentation.”
She notes that a facebook page campaign is underway for the event. (click here)
“If you go to our facebook page and like us, once we hit 300 likes, we will pick all those names and put them in a drawing for 2 tickets to the show. The other thing I’d like to mention is that we’re still taking ideas from anyone who would like to post on facebook, what that they would like to see Andrew cook and eat: something bizarre!”
An Evening with Andrew Zimmern is slated for May 2 at Arrowwood Resort in Okoboji.
