(Emmetsburg)– Residents of Emmetsburg can expect to see a high presence of law enforcement in different areas of that community throughout the day today (Wed.). Authorities say it’s only for training though.
The Emmetsburg Police Department says the MART, or Multi Agency Response Team, will be conducting training exercises at numerous locations within the city of Emmetsburg. They add that there is no active threat to the community.
Emmetsburg residents will likely notice the increased presence of law enforcement along with tactical vehicles, equipment, and simulated activity.
