(Spencer)– Multiple charges were filed against a Spirit Lake man following a traffic stop this past Sunday.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle around 10:30 that morning in the area of 460th Street and Highway 71. It was discovered the driver, 24-year-old Isaac Hathaway of Spirit Lake, had a barred driver’s license. As Hathaway was being placed under arrest, it was discovered he was allegedly in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Hathaway was booked into jail on charges of driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, no driver’s license, no insurance, operating a non-registered vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bond was set at $2,000 cash or surety.
