Traffic Stop Results In Arrests Of Two Men On Weapons Charge

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A traffic stop yesterday (Thurs.) in Spencer resulted in the arrests of two men on a weapons charge.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a subsequent investigation resulted in a passenger in the vehicle telling a deputy that a weapon was possibly in the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle turned up a .40 caliber handgun with a loaded magazine between the seat and gear shift.

32-year-old Brad Buhr and 19-year-old Kameron Beets…both of Cedar Falls…were arrested and charged with carrying weapons.

Both were booked into the Clay county jail pending an appearance before a magistrate.
