(Orange City)– A Hartley woman was arrested Friday in connection with a traffic stop that took place back in June.
Authorities say the stop was conducted June 8th on Highway 18 west of Hull after they received a report of a vehicle that was being driven erratically. A deputy located the vehicle a short time later and pulled it over. Upon investigating deputies determined the driver, 37-year-old Brea Tschopp of Hartley, was allegedly under the influence of a drug and that there were three children in the vehicle at the time.
Tschopp was arrested Friday and charged with third offense operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated and two counts of child endangerment. She was booked into the Sioux county jail.
A Drug Recognition Expert and the Iowa Department of Human Services assisted in the investigation.
