(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Monday evening landed an Estherville man in jail on drug charges.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Trent Heeren of Estherville in the 1400 block of 310th Avenue. A subsequent search turned up what’s alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Heeren was booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The traffic stop was conducted around 9:45 p.m.
