(Ruthven)– A traffic stop Saturday evening on Highway 18 about a half mile east of Ruthven resulted in drug charges against a Curlew man.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by Bruce Plucker of Curlew. A subsequent search by the deputy and his K9 partner resulted in the discovery of what’s alleged to be quantities of marijuana and methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia.
A subsequent search of Plucker’s residence resulted in authorities finding more of what’s alleged to illegal drug evidence.
A 1995 Chevrolet Plucker was driving was seized and authorities say forfeiture proceedings will be initiated on it.
Plucker was booked into the Palo Alto county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
