(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Friday east of Spirit Lake on Highway Nine resulted in the arrests of three juveniles on drug charges.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says a subsequent search of the vehicle during the stop resulted in deputies finding a substance alleged to be marijuana.
The three juveniles were cited for possession of marijuana. Two of the three were also cited for possession of tobacco under the age of 18.
All were released to the custody of a parent.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Spirit Lake Police Department.
