(Ashton) – A stop for an equipment violation in Osceola County on Friday led to the arrest of two individuals. Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Kent Vink, age 21 of Doon and charged him with allegedly Operating While Intoxicated and Providing Alcohol to a Minor, both Serious Misdemeanors. He was also charged with failure to have a valid driver’s license, no proof of liability insurance, interfering with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies also arrested Jennifer Miller, age 19 of George on a number of misdemeanor charges.
Devin Groeneweg, age 20 of Ashton, was cited for alleged Possession of Alcohol Under Legal Age.
The arrests followed a traffic stop in Ashton for an equipment violation. Vink allegedly failed to stop for a Deputy and then, after stopping at a residence, fled on foot. Vink was located after a short search.
Vink and Miller were transported to the Osceola County Jail. Both were released after posting bond.
