(Spencer)– A traffic stop Wednesday in the 200 block of West 8th Street in Spencer ended with the arrest of a Spencer man on drug charges. Police say it happened around 12 Noon when an officer pulled over a vehicle and found what’s alleged to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
37-year-old Scott Atkinson was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine with intent to deliver, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…2nd offense. He was booked into jail on a $25,000 bond.
Police say the incident is still under investigation and that more arrests are expected.
