(Spencer)– It’s day three of the Clay County Fair Powered by SMU. Jerome Hertel of the Clay County Fair says it’s a special day at the fair as it’s Veterans Appreciation Day…
“Veterans and active military, we give them free gate admission to come into the fair and enjoy some free entertainment and some free activities and stuff here on the fairgrounds. We’ve got a lot of different things going on, you know. The free stages are all going, the Northwest Bank Stage, and The Farmer’s Bank Stage. It is the last day for some of those entertainers, we do a little switch out for the free stage entertainment, so it’s kind of the last day to see some of that, but we’ll switch it out. We’ll have new entertainment tomorrow for those free stage acts.”
And he says it will be another big night in front of the grandstand…
“You know the past couple of shows, Kansas, Trace Adkins. Tonight is Lonestar with the Jorgensens opening for them. Great entertainment option for everybody.”
