(Arnolds Park)– A three-vehicle chain reaction collision Wednesday on Highway 71 just north of Broadway Street in Arnolds Park sent one person to the hospital.
Arnolds Park police say Molly Petersen of Terril was driving a Chrysler Sebring that collided with the rear of a 1987 Ford pickup driven by Joseph Conover of Milford. The impact pushed Conover’s pickup into the rear of a vehicle driven by Connie Chapman of Milford.
Ptersen was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake with non-incapacitating injuries. No injuries were reported to Conover and Chapman.
A total dollar estimate of damage to all three vehicle was put at more than 15-thousand dollars.
The collision took place around 8:00 a.m.
Arnolds Park police were assisted on the scene by Arnolds Park Fire and Rescue and Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics.
