Those Attending This Year’s Clay County Fair Will Be Able To Assist Flood Victims

“When fairgoers go to purchase tickets online, there will be an option to donate money to the Clay County Flood Recovery Fundraiser. There will also be another option that if you’ve already purchased your tickets and you still want to make a donation, there’s also another box on there where you can just donate to the recovery fundraiser. This is going to go on throughout the fair. When the fair is going on in September there will be QR codes and places where fairgoers can make donations as well on the fairgrounds.”

Clay County Fair officials say this year’s event will also serve as a celebration of resilience and support as the community works to recover from the June flood.
