Those Attending This Year’s Clay County Fair Powered By SMU Will Notice Some Things Have Been Moved

August 31, 2022 Steve Schwaller

(Spencer)– Those attending this year’s Clay County Fair powered by SMU will notice a few things that have been moved to new locations on the grounds. Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons says the Emergency Medical Services trailer is among them…

“It is no longer east of the grandstand. It’s going to be east of the Family Place, our old office, kind of straight east of The Depot. That puts all of our medical, first aid emergency services in one location. Also an ambulance can enter Gate C, turn around by The Depot, pick somebody up at that trailer, and go right back out.”

Other attractions with new locations include the Arts on Grand displays which will now be at the Photography Center; antique autos will now be located at the Grandstand Annex; the Town and Country Innovation Show will be at the Community Exhibits Building; model homes will now at on the southwest corner of the grounds; and miniature horses will be located at the old SA barn.
