There’s A New Face On The Milford City Council

August 15, 2023 Steve Schwaller

(Milford)– The Milford City Council has a new member. The council voted 4-0 following a public hearing Monday evening to appoint David Worshek to fill a vacancy created with the recent resignation of councilman Andy Yungbluth who has moved outside of city limits. Worshek previously served on the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission. The council Monday evening approved Worshek’s resignation from that position.

Two others, Angie Cook and Stacey Newgard, had inquired about the council vacancy but didn’t send in formal application letters.

Worshek, who grew up in Milford, recently returned to the community. He explains what it was that led up to his interest in serving on the city council…

Worshek says he comes onto the council with no special interests in mind…

Worshek added he’s glad to be back in his hometown…

Worshek will serve on the council up until the November election, when he plans to seek a full term.
