The Start Date For A Street Project In Estherville Is Being Pushed Back

(Estherville)– The start date of a street project in Estherville is being pushed back.

The South 1^st Street re-surfacing project was originally scheduled to start this week, but city officials now say it won’t get started until Monday, September 8^th. It’s still scheduled for completion by October 10^th, weather permitting.

They add that while the work is underway, South 1^st Street between 1^st Avenue South and Highway 4 South will be closed to through traffic, with access to homes and businesses in that area still being maintained.
