(Arnolds Park)-There’s a big concert on tap at The Roof Garden Saturday night. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Arnolds Park Amusement Park will will present rising Country Star Allie Colleen on Saturday night. Allie says the show will feature her hard-driving original music. “Our live show is actually pretty big in the sense that like sonically, it’s really big, it’s really heavy, and we’re trying to find our kind of sound in the alternative country world. So, for anyone who has maybe heard our music in the past, we do have a lot of music, our older music, in our set still, but we also have a lot of new music in our set, too. So, it’s really exciting for us.”
She adds that she’s about to hit the road with Jelly Roll. “Arnolds Park will be our last city to do any kind of headlining in for awhile and then we leave for the Jelly Roll Tour, I think just a couple nights later, and we’re out for the last 20 cities of the Jelly Roll Tour. We’re so excited. We’ve never gotten an opportunity like this before, really ever. We’re the little guy, the unrepresented little guy on this tour so we’re so excited, and really just hoping to make the most of the time that we have out there on the road.”
The doors will open at 6 o’clock, with opening act DJ Spin X. Allie Colleen is set to take the stage at 8 o’clock Saturday night at The Roof Garden Ballroom.
