(Sioux City)– Spirit Lake High School marching band “The Force” earned second place in their class at the Sioux City StarFest Marching Competition this past Saturday.
“The Force” earned the right to compete in the evening finals where they placed seventh out of 15 bands for the day. The evening point totals placed them ahead of five larger size schools.
The next performance for “The Force” will be this Saturday, October 3rd at the Sioux Falls Festival of Bands.
“The Force” is directed by Judy Ingwersen and led by Drum Majors Lyndsey Kent and Emily Ayres.
