(Spencer)– A Texas man escaped injury Wednesday when a semi pulling a tanker trailer left the road and rolled onto its passenger side.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 59-year-old Randolph Huffman of Rockport, Texas, was driving the rig northbound in the 2900 mile of County Road M-27 when he lost control of the semi. It left the road and went into the east ditch, coming to rest on its passenger side.
The 2020 International semi and a 2018 tanker trailer it was pulling sustained about $5,000 in damage.
Huffman was cited for failure to maintain control.
