November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A Texas juvenile has been charged after allegedly threatening a 16-year-old girl from Royal with a knife.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called Friday to a residence in Everly where the 14-year-old Texas boy had allegedly been threatening the girl.

The 14-year-old boy, who’s name wasn’t released, is from Annex, Texas. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and was released to the custody of a grandparent.

Authorities say no one was injured during the incident late last Friday afternoon.
