(West Okoboji)– Improvements planned for Terrace Park Beach and Alex Danbom Memorial Park in West Okoboji have been awarded funding from the state.
The Enhance Iowa Board has awarded a $500,000 Community Attraction and Tourism, or CAT Grant, for the project, which has a total cost of a little more than $1.8 million. It includes improvements to the beach access, additional parking, signage, restroom enhancements, a new playground and a pedestrian crosswalk.
