Teen Faces Drug Charges After Dad Finds Pot And Drug Paraphernalia

(Everly)– An Everly teen faces drug charges after his father found what’s alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his bedroom.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says upon investigating,  the father of the teen turned over the items to a deputy. A consent search of the rest of the home turned up additional drug paraphernalia.

The 17-year-old male was then arrested and transported to the Clay County jail. He was then taken to a juvenile detention facility in Cherokee.

The teen was cited into juvenile court for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
