(Storm Lake)– A teen was taken into custody earlier this week after climbing a water tower in Storm Lake.
Police were called to the scene where they observed a 17-year-old male on top of the tower. He voluntarily came back down after talking to officers. The teen was taken into custody and was issued a juvenile referral for trespassing on public property, a class “D” felony.
The teen was released to a parent pending an appearance in juvenile court.
