(Estherville)– Estherville police say a routine sweep by the department’s K-9 earlier this week of lockers at the Estherville Middle School didn’t turn up any illegal drugs.
The sweep was conducted Monday in cooperation with the school’s administrators.
Police Chief Eric Milburn says in the event the K-9 would have detected the presence of something illegal that the K-9 officer would have reported it to school administrators who would have had the option to conduct a search of the suspect locker.
