SW Mn. Motorcycle Mishap Injures Two From NW Iowa

(Luverne, Mn.)– A motorcycle accident Saturday on Interstate 90 west of Luverne, Minnesota injured to people from northwest Iowa.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 29-year-old MIchael Schnoes of Paullina was driving a 1985 Honda motorcycle westbound when its rear tire went flat, cauing him to lose control. The motorcycle than slid onto the shoulder.

Schnoes and a passenger, 25-year-old Elizabeth Schnoes of Ida Grove, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls where they were treated for what was described as non-life threatening injuries.

Moderate damage was reported to the motorcycle.

The incident took place shortly before 9:00 a.m. Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
