(Worthington, Mn.)—A two-vehicle collision Wednesday on Highway 59 near Worthington injured three people.
The Minnesota State Patrol says vehicles driven by 62-year-old Georgia Blum of South Sioux City, Nebraska and 55-year-old Karen Snider of Sheldon were northbound. Authorities say Blum was attempting to make a left-hand turn when the collision took place.
Blum and Snider, along with a passenger in Snider’s vehicle, 45-year-old Shirleen Earle of Spencer, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington for treatment of minor injuries.
Moderate damage was reported to a 2007 Lincoln driven by Blum and to a 1995 Ford Windstar driven by Snider.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office and the Worthington Police Department.
The collision took place shortly before 5:30 p.m.
