(Worthington, Mn.)– A collision involving a semi and an SUV Saturday at an intersection in Nobles county sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 80-year-old Lorna Thompson of San Marino, California was driving a 2016 Honda Fit eastbound on 160th Street and 38-year-old Jose Antonio Pilar Lopez of Pipestone was driving a 2016 Peterbilt semi southbound on Highway 59 when the two collided.
Thompson was taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. The collision took place shortly before 11:00 am.
