(Redwood Falls, Mn.)– A collision in Redwood county of southwest Minnesota Wednesday claimed the life of a Spirit Lake man.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 41-year-old John Mcwhorter of Spirit Lake was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Cruze eastbound and a 2004 Peterbilt semi tractor was westbound when the two collided. The vehicle driven by Mcwhorter then collided with an eastbound Chevrolet Suburban.
Mcwhorter was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported to the other two drivers.
The crash took place a little before 1:00 pm Wednesday.
