(Spencer)– A Spencer man was injured Saturday when a vehicle he was driving collided with a scooter at the corner of Grand Avenue and West Fourth Street in Spencer.
Spencer police say 32-year-old Michelle Schwarz of Paullina was driving a 2007 Cheverolet Tahoe that collided in the intersection with a Scooter driven by 51-year-old Earl Price of Spencer. The impact of the collision ejected Price from the scooter. He was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital. There was no immediate word on the nature or extent of his injuries or condition.
Schwarz was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in the intersection.
The collision took place shortly before Noon.
