(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man faces drunk driving and drug charges in connection with an incident last week.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a vehicle on Manhattan Boulevard in Wahpeton with the driver appearing to be sick and not waking up.
Deputies and EMS personnel arrived on the scene and determined the driver was not in need of medical attention.
Instead, 20-year-old Ryan Jennings of Spirit Lake was arrested for operating while intoxicated…first offense. A subsequent search turned up what’s alleged to be marijuana. An additional charge of possession of marijuana was then filed against Jennings, who was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
