Suspicious Vehicle Investigation Results In Drug Charges Against Two Teens

February 07, 2023 Steve Schwaller

(Peterson)– An investigation into a suspicious vehicle parked at a gas pump in Peterson has resulted in drug charges being filed against two teens. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy who responded to the scene around 1:00 am this past Friday could smell marijuana as he approached the vehicle. A female passenger, identified as 18-year-old Autumn Donis, surrendered a THC vaping cartridge and drug paraphernalia to the deputy. A search of the vehicle was conducted resulting in deputies finding additional drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and THC vaping cartridges. A 17-year-old male juvenile who was also in the vehicle, was taken into custody as well.

Donis was booked into the Clay county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was being held on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. The 17-year-old was cited into juvenile court for the same charges and was released to the custody of an adult.
