(Spencer)– An investigation Friday into a report of suspicious activity at a Spencer residence resulted in several arrests.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says authorities were called shortly before 8:00 p.m. to 21 East Park Street after a deputy observed suspicious activity.
Upon arriving, deputies observed 28-year-old Griffin Clark of Spencer running. Clark, who was wanted on a warrant for failure to comply as a sex offender, was later found hiding in a shower where he was taken into custody.
Also arrested was 55-year-old Ronald Hughes, 64-year-old Brenda Hastings and 49-year-old Timothy Wieczorek, Jr., all of Spencer. The three were charged with interference with official acts and were booked into the Clay county jail on a $300 cash or surety bond each.
Clark was being held on a $5,000 cash bond.
