(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson county board of supervisors Tuesday approved the county’s involvement in a joint project with Jackson county, Minnesota to replace a bridge on 100th street near Sioux Valley, north of Lake Park.
County Engineer Dan Eckert told the supervisors Dickinson county’s share of the cost will be $30,000. The project has a total estimated cost of $375,000. Eckert said Jackson county will foot the remainder of that, most of which is being covered under a grant.
The supervisors also Tuesday set March 22nd as the date for bidlettings on a couple of projects. One is for a patching project on county road M-34 between Highway 9 and county road A-34. It has an estimated cost of $270,000. The other is on a project to replace four culverts on 140th Avenue in Excelsior Township at an estimated cost of $150,000.
