Supervisors approve quote for emergency court house power

November 22, 2014

The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday morning in the Community Room at the courthouse in Spirit Lake. The Supervisors approved a quote to hook up emergency power for the community room. The room, which will serve as the command center in case of an emergency was previously left off the areas of the court house which were backed up by a power generator. The installation costs will total $3,485 and will be paid for with the remaining court house bond money.
In other news, the supervisors took no action on a conflict of interest policy for those appointed to various county commissions and boards. A decision on that is expected in a few weeks.
