(Superior)– A Superior woman is in the Dickinson county jail on an arson charge. A criminal complaint filed by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office accuses 58-year-old Rebecca Bedow of lighting a shed on fire using gasoline. The document states the incident allegedly took place a little after 4:30 pm Monday at 109 South 6th Street in Superior. It goes on to state that the structure has a value exceeding $750.
Bedow was arrested Monday evening and was charged with arson in the second degree…a class “C” felony. Her bond was set at $5,000. A preliminary hearing for Bedow is scheduled for August 18th in Dickinson County District Court.
