(Spencer)– The leader of a local school district has received some special recognition. The Iowa High School Athletic Directors Association has named Terry Hemann, Superintendent of the Spencer Community School District, as its 2025 Administrator of the Year. A committee of Iowa athletic directors selected Hemann for the award. He was honored at a home wrestling event last week.
Hemann has served as superintendent for the Spencer Community School District the past 14 years and has 31 years of experience in the education field.
