(Sibley)– A vehicle that got stuck in a snow bank Saturday in Sibley resulted in several arrests.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a stuck vehicle Saturday at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 6th Street in Sibley. Upon arriving deputies found 39-year-old Sebastian Jimenez of Sibley operating the vehicle, trying to get it unstuck. Two other suspects attempted to walk away. They were later identified as 33-year-old Aaron Gomez Gonzalez and 22-year-old Isai Perez Hernandez, both of Sibley.
Jimenez was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated…first offense. Jimenez was also charged with open container, failure to have control, failure to have a valid driver’s license, and failure to prove security against liability. He was booked into the Osceola county jail on a $2,200 cash bond. An immigration hold was also placed on Jimenez.
Also arrested were Perez Hernandez and Gomez Gonzalez. They were charged with public intoxication. Both were booked into the Osceola county jail on bonds of $300 cash each. An immigration hold was also placed on both men.
