(Undated)– Thunderstorms Thursday evening brought more rain to the region, and in some cases, some hail and wind as well. There were reports of hail ranging in size from quarters to nearly 50 cent pieces in southeastern Nobles county Minnesota, with quarter size hail and slightly larger in the extreme northwestern corner of Dickinson county. Marble size hail was reported in Lake Park along with some street flooding. 58 one hundredths of an inch of rain fell here at the KUOO studios.
Some of the storms also produced 60 mile per hour plus wind as they moved through portions of southwest Minnesota. A large tree was reported down in the Worthington area, blocking a road.
More rain is in the forecast for today (Fri.) and tonight.
