(Storm Lake)– Some housing projects in Storm Lake have been awarded $150,000 in funding through a partnership involving the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation and Tyson Foods.
The funds are targeted for the Sunrise Pointe Phase I, a 170-unit market rate rental housing development on the northeast side of Storm Lake. Another is for the West Winds Townhomes project in Storm Lake consisting of four buildings with two units per building.
Construction on the Sunrise Pointe Phase I project is currently underway; construction on the West Winds Townhomes project is scheduled to start later this month with completion in July of 2024.
