State Representative Jeff Smith Appointed To Another Leadership Role In Iowa House

(Des Moines)—State Representative Jeff Smith of Okoboji has been appointed to another leadership role in the Iowa House.

House Speaker Kraig Paulsen announced today (Wed.) Smith has been appointed Chairman of the House Ethics Committee.

Smith earlier this month was re-elected Assistant Majority Leader in the Iowa House.

Smith was first elected to the Iowa House in 2010. He was elected November 6^th to represent the new 1^st District, which includes Lyon, Osceola and Dickinson counties.
