(Spirit Lake)– A spring storm is bringing some badly needed moisture to the region. Since it started Saturday, 1.75″ of rain had fallen at the KUOO studios as of 7:00 am this (Monday) morning. A trace of that was in the form of light snow that fell Saturday.
Forecasters say rain will continue throughout the day today (Monday), but will change to snow overnight before ending early Tuesday.
Additional chances for precipitation are in the forecast later in the week and next weekend. The National Weather Service says we can expect to see above normal precipitation and temperatures at or a little below normal over the next couple of weeks or so.
