(Spirit Lake)– A weekend traffic stop in Spirit Lake resulted in drug charges against a Sioux Falls woman.
Police say officers pulled over a vehicle shortly after 3:00 p.m. Saturday for a routine traffic stop. A subsequent investigation and search by the department’s K9 turned up what’s alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A passenger in the vehicle, Darline Compere of Sioux Falls, was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for a traffic violation and was released.
