(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake School Board has another vacancy to fill. Board member Kerri McKim announced at Monday evening’s meeting she will be resigning from her seat effective May 22nd, after serving nearly six years. In a statement McKim says she feels it’s the right time to step down with her youngest child graduating.
The school board intends to fill the vacancy by appointing a person to serve until the November election. Eligible residents of the district interested in being appointed should submit a letter of application to the district office within 10 days of publication of the district’s intent to fill the vacancy.
