(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake police have arrested one suspect and issued an arrest warrant for another wanted in connection with a drug investigation.
Police say 23-year-old Cody Hoffman of Spirit Lake was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver…a class”D” felony; and one count of prohibited acts…an aggravated misdemeanor. Hoffman was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Authorities say the other suspect, 29-year-old Stephanie Stollings, is no longer a resident of Spirit Lake and has moved out of state. The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office has four valid arrest warrants for Stollings, charging her with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and prohibited acts. Bond is set at $14,000.
The Spirit Lake Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
