(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man faces charges after allegedly physically assaulting an employee at a store in Spirit Lake and taking a key fob and a vehicle from the business, eluding police for about two miles before being pulled over.
Criminal complaints filed by Spirit Lake police charge 59-year-old Brent Wyman with disorderly conduct, assault causing bodily injury, eluding, and theft in the 5th degree. He was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail and has since been released.
The incident is alleged to have occurred around 5:00 pm Monday.
