(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man has been arrested on burglary and theft charges. 43-year-old Elijah Hicks was arrested Monday for burglary in the 3rd degree…a class “D” felony, and theft in the 1st degree…a class “C” felony.
Criminal complaints filed by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office accuse Hicks of entering an occupied structure a little after 7:00 am this past Sunday on Highway 86 just south of the Sandpiper Cove area and taking some items.
Hicks is being held in the Dickinson county jail on a $20,000 bond.
He was also arrested back in April of this year on an assault charge stemming from an alleged incident in the Center Lake area.
