Spirit Lake Man Arrested For Allegedly Selling Methamphetamine

February 24, 2023 Steve Schwaller

(Estherville)– An investigation by Police Departments in Estherville, Spirit Lake and Emmetsburg along with the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a Spirit Lake man. Authorities say it stems from the sale of methamphetamine during the spring of 2022.

As a result of that investigation, they say 32-year-old Matthew Krogman Meyer was arrested February 10th, 2023, on two charges of delivering a controlled substance…over 5 grams of methamphetamine. The charges are a class “B” felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison and a fine.

Krogman Meyer is being held in the Dickinson county jail on a $25,000 bond.

Authorities say additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
